Majority of Indian muslims are under wrong impression that muslims in India should prefer to speak in Urdu. See, the language of urdu is not having any religious importance in Islam. It is the regional importance. Mother tongue is not chosen by anyone. Whatever be our mother tongue, we need to respect that. It's nothing to bother about others making fun of us. First of all, what rights do they have to make fun of others who respects mother tongue. My mother tongue is Tamil and i respect my language. Even though i can speak urdu, i always PREFER my tamil language. can you prove from Quran and hadees that Urdu is superior to tamil or any other language. You have to accept the fact that Our Rasoole Kareem (PBUH) didnot speak in urdu in his entire lifetime.The Almighty Allah will judge us by Our prayers and our good deeds, NOT BY the language we speak. Even a Arab speaking people are not superior to anyone. How come the Urdu?

IT'S OUR GOOD DEEDS WHICH DECIDES.

NOT THE LANGUAGE.

BUT

ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR MOTHER, MOTHER LAND AND MOTHER TONGUE.
